What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world.

Salvation

We believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Christ did for us on the Cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer for end of Roman Road to Salvation

God, I know that I am a sinner.  And I believe Jesus died for my sins on The Cross and paid my penalty.  Please forgive me for my sins.  I believe after Jesus died He rose again conquering death, hell, and the grave.  So I put my trust in You for the salvation of my soul.  I give You my life.  Come into my heart and help me live for You.  Thank You for Your wonderful gift of grace and forgiveness.  In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

We have all sinned:  1st scripture:

  1. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  Romans 3:23 (ESV)

There are consequences to sin 2nd verse:

23 For the wages of sin is death, Romans 6:23a

The third step is the last part of that verse about God's free Gift to us.

but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.   Romans 6:23b

The fourth stop on the Roman Road isRomans 10:9:

9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9 (ESV)

and   Romans 10:13

13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  Romans 10:13 (ESV)

And finally, Romans 5:1

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.   Romans 5:1 (ESV)
